Allyson Felix

Allyson Melissa Felix was born at Los Angeles, California on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordinand in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix was an athlete of the highest level and found her passion to sprint at Los Angeles Baptist High School. After a few weeks of the first time she tried out her skills, she placed second for 200m at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix finished her high school education and was signed to an agreement for Adidas. In the year 2004, she enrolled in her first year at the University of Southern California, in the area of elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic gold at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record of running the 200m in 22.18. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her become the shortest woman ever to be crowned the winner of the 200-meter race. In 2007, she won the title by beating her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix was a frequent competitor at Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo. She consistently placed within the top three places of all events.
